Superintendent Hendrick, Schools Police and the Sheriff's Office share an important safety message as students return to school.
For the third year in a row, Pinellas County Schools is recognized as an 'A' district by the Florida Department of Education.
Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.
Scholars from Dunedin Highland Middle School were awarded the Women’s History Award and Florida’s Outstanding Project Award.
Sean Layne, actor, author and founder of Focus 5, flew in to train teachers on theatrical strategies and taught several demo classes to show teachers how to put the strategies in practice in their own classrooms. Arts integration teacher, Kelley Oster uses many of the strategies consistently in her classroom. Her class is featured in the gallery above.
